pSEOos Story: From Idea to Acquisition

In late 2022, my friend Bikash and I came up with the idea of creating a programmatic SEO course. We noticed that many people wanted to learn how to build large-scale programmatic SEO projects, but they didn’t know where to start. Since we were experimenting a lot with pSEO at the time, we decided to create a simple, step-by-step course to guide them.

We put everything together in about 18 days. We named the course pSEOos and were excited to share it with others. Our goal was to create something that people could easily follow and use to achieve real results for their websites.

We launched pSEOos on Jan 7, 2023, and over the next four months, about 100 students joined the course. The feedback was incredibly positive. People told us how the course helped them learn programmatic SEO and grow their projects. Seeing them succeed and knowing we played a small part in their journey was the most rewarding aspect of the entire experience.

Just as we were starting to think about the next steps for pSEOos, we received a message from Ian Nuttall. Ian was already running a similar program called Practical Programmatic, and he reached out to discuss the idea of acquiring pSEOos. He thought the two courses could work well together.

After a few conversations, we agreed on a fair deal. I handed over the website, course materials, and all rights to Ian. The process was smooth, and Ian was great to work with. I’m proud that pSEOos has turned into something valuable enough for someone else to want to acquire it. It felt like a big milestone for a project that started as just an idea in late 2022.

I want to thank Bikash for being a key part of the journey. His support and input were crucial to the success of pSEOos. I also want to thank everyone who supported the course, whether by joining it, giving feedback, or sharing it with others. You all made this journey so much more meaningful.

This experience taught us the value of creating resources that help people learn and grow. It also inspired us to continue building projects that make a positive impact. While pSEOos was a wonderful chapter, we’re already looking forward to the next chapter.

If you’re thinking about starting something new, I hope this story reminds you that great things can happen when you focus on solving real problems and sharing your knowledge with others.
